| This year's conference title was
Techno-savvy Assessment in a Data-Driven World. Although the use of technology in the assessment process was a main focus, presenters shared other traditional assessment strategies/techniques to share in the quest to improve student learning. The keynote speaker was Carole Barrowman, professor of English, at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her keynote address was entitled Teaching for Tomorrow: Connecting Student Learning to Teaching, Assessment and Curriculum.
The presentations were made by faculty members and other assessment leaders and practitioners from community colleges around the state of Illinois. |
